The upcoming United Cup is a brand-new event announced by joint venture of the ATP and the WTA. The inaugural edition of this new tennis tournament will be opener for both the 2023 ATP Tour and the 2023 WTA Tour.
2023 United Cup will be a mixed-gender event. It is the first event to provide both ATP and WTA ranking points to the competitors. This upcoming tennis star filled tournament will feature over 150 professional tennis players from the top rankings of 18 different countries.
United Cup will feature both singles and doubles tournament for men’s, women’s and mixed discipline. It will be based on a country-based team format competition. A total of $15 million prize pool has officially been announced in addition to the 500 ranking points for the event.
The initial stage of this newly formed international team-based tennis tournament will be played in a round robin format. Following which, group champions will be qualified to the next playoff stage. There they will compete against each other to determine the inaugural United Cup 2023 winner.

United Cup 2023 is scheduled to begin on coming Thursday, December 29, 2022. With the group stage game of USA vs CZE, the event will initiate at 12:00 p.m. ACST or 09:40 p.m. ET. It will run till the final game on Sunday of January 8, 2022.

3 different venues have been selected in three different cities of Australia to be the host for upcoming inaugural iteration of United Cup 2023. They are –

There have been no official announcement on any telecast partnership for the upcoming United Cup 2023 event. Therefore, the inaugural edition of United Cup won’t be available to watch on any tv channel.
