The brand-new Australian tennis team competition is finally coming to an end. United Cup 2023 final is scheduled for this Sunday.

United Cup is a newly founded exotic tennis competition. Organized under the joint venture of ATP and WTA, the founding editor of the event was held in Australia. It served as the inaugural event of ATP and WTA Tour’s 2023 calendar.
Over 150 top-ranked professional players from 18 different nations participated in the event. It features a $15 million prize pool and additional ranking points. Each player participating in the event will be able to earn nearly 500 ATP or WTA ranking points to push their leaderboard standings.
With 6 groups, each with 3 international teams, the event began the group stage. The top team of each group entered the playoffs. In the semifinals, US defeated Poland in a 5-0 match to enter the finals. While Italy upset Greece with 4-1 score to secure their finals placement.
