Tennis is bringing some exciting moments in Estonia with the Tallinn Open 2022 for the very first time in history. It is a professional women’s tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts.
Being a part of WTA 250, the inaugural edition of the event will take place from September 26 to October 2 this year at FORUS Tennis Center in Tallinn, Estonia.
The event will not feature only five Top-20 players including home favorite Anett Kontaveit. The Estonian achieved her career-high rank of No. 2 in June this year which is historically the highest by any from her country. She is the top seed in the tournament. Other notable names in the tournament include Belinda Bencic, Madison Keys, French Open winner Jelena Ostapenko, Brazilian No. 1 Beatriz Haddad Maia, and Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
