The Los Cabos Open was inaugurated in 2016 to revitalize tennis in Latin America. It’s comparatively a new addition to the ATP circuit. It is played on outdoor hard courts while the Cabo Sports Complex will be the new venue from this year on. The main stadium can accommodate 3500 spectators.
Ivo Karlovic won the inaugural edition of the tournament. Sam Querrey, Fabio Fognini, Diego Schwartzman, and Cameron Norrie joined him in the champion’s club through the following years.
