Polis professional, Magda Linette is the leading seed of the inaugural ATX Open. This February, she reached her career-highest 21st rank at WTA Singles. Linette reached her first major singles semifinal at the Australia Open 2023. However, she lost to Aryna Sabalenka in that round.
Zhang Shuai is the 2nd seed at the upcoming Texas-based WTA 250 tournament. The Chinese professional is ranked 22nd in the singles standings. Last year, she won the Lyon Open.
