Following the inauguration of this year’s WTA Adelaide International 1, the ATP-sanctioned tournament of the series, 2023 ATP Adelaide International 1 is ready to begin today.

Adelaide International is a professional tennis event held in Australia. This year’s iteration will be divided in two different events. The first one titled Adelaide International 1 will feature the ATP Tour 250 and WTA 500 events.
Following last day’s initiation of WTA 500 competition in Adelaide, today tennis fans will get to enjoy the ATP Tour 250 side competition. This year’s Adelaide International 1 features a total of 32 professionals for the first round. The event will feature two different competitions for men’s singles and men’s doubles.
Serbian professional tennis player, Novak Djokovic is the leading seed of this year’s ATP Adelaide International 1 competition. The 35 years old tennis veteran bagged both the Wimbledon and Tour finals championship of 2022. Djokovic also had an amazing year of 42-7 professional record.
The second seed of this tournament is held by Canadian professional, Felix Auger-Aliassime. Aliassime collected 4 singles and 1 doubles title in 2022. Furthermore, he played an active part in the winning teams of ATP, Davis and Laver Cup last year.
Aliassime’s countryman Daniil Medvedev is the 3rd seed of ATP Adelaide International. The young right-handed player reached the leading position of ATP singles standings in February of last year. He also was the finalist of Australian Open and grabbed the Vienna Open championship to end the year with 15th career title.
