Snooker Shoot Out is a professional ranking snooker tournament, sanctioned under the World Snooker Tour. Held in Leicester annually, it is a part of the ranked snooker season tournaments.
Upcoming Snooker Shoot Out 2023 will be the 14th official iteration of the event. For current sponsorship, the event is officially titled “BetVictor Snooker Shoot Out 2023” While the event will initiate the 2023 ranking season, it is actually the 9th ranking event of 2022-23 official snooker season.
128 international snooker professionals will participate in the upcoming ranking events first round. The officials have announced a purse pool of £171,000, of which 29.3% has already been selected as winner’s share.
The Snooker Shoot Out 2023 will feature the tournament exclusive rule like previous years. All the games will be played over 10-minute duration. In addition, each shot will be counted under a specific time duration, which pushes the players take decisions in a swift manner. As such, it is often regarded as the T20 format of snooker by analysts.

The 14th Snooker Shoot Out will feature a £171,000 purse pool. This will be distributed among all the 128 participants of the event, based on their standings. In addition, the participant with highest break record will gain £5,000 reward. Perticipants that will be disqualified from first round will not receive any ranking for their prize money.
