The upcoming WTCR Bahrain is officially titled “FIA WTCR: Race of Bahrain”. It is a touring car tournament, sanctioned under the World Tour Car Cup. The 2022 edition will be the inaugural iteration of the race. It is sponsored by Eurosport Events and administered by the International Automobile Federation (FIA). Moreover, the event is also supported by FIA World Endurance Championship.
22 racers will compete in the next Bahrain race event. It will consist of two races over two days. There will be a qualification and two free practice sessions prior to the day 1 race. Each race will be a one-lap competition on a 5.412-kilometer racetrack. The race’s results will serve as qualifier for the World Tour Car Cup’s 2022 season.
