Preview
The Dead On Tools, or previously known as Draft Top 250 is a part of the NASCAR Xfinity Series 2022. It is a stock car race event held annually in Virginia. The event first took place in 1970 and was incorporated into the Xfinity series in 1982. It was removed from the official program in 1995 and was recently reinstated in 2020. Due to its official sponsorship with Dead On Tools, the event features the same name since 2021.
In the 2021 edition of the event, the race featured 257 laps. The race was extended due to the NASCAR Overtime restart procedure. Noah Gragson of JR Motorsports came champion in the 2021 event featuring a 2:10:48 lap time.
The 2022 Dead On Tools 250 will be a 269-lap event. The lap count was extended again due to the same reason as last year. At present, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing is leading the ongoing event. The race is the 32nd event of this season’s 33 races.
