Pennzoil 400 or officially titled “Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube” is a stock car race event. It is held annually in a Las Vegas circuit under the NASCAR Cup Series. The event was first inaugurated in 1989 as Las Vegas 400 and has been running yearly since under various title changes.
The upcoming 2023 Pennzoil 400 will be 3rd event of the ongoing 2023 season. Pennzoil 400 will be a 3-stage race. Participants will do 276 laps over the 2.414 km asphalt racetrack. The initial stages will contain 80 laps each, while the final stage will contain 107 laps.
Like every year, Pennzoil 400 will be sponsored by Pennzoil and Jiffy Lube. Additionally, the champion of the event will receive a championship belt instead of a trophy like the previous iterations. A total of 36 drivers are ready to start at the stock car race event on Monday.
According to the officially published starting lineup after qualifiers, Joey Logano from Team Penske will lead the race will pole position on the first stage. While car no 24’s Willian Byron from Hendrick Motorsports will be the second lead. The American professional, Logano won the event back-to-back in 2019 and 2020.
