The 2022 Supercars Bathurst 1000 is also known as the Repco Bathurst 1000, named after its title sponsor. The Supercars motor racing event was first held in 1960. It will take place from October 6-9 this year at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.
The event is the 11th round of this year’s Supercars Championship and will host a 1000-kilometer race on the final day. Team Walkinshaw Andretti United will feature their manufacturer brand Holden for the last time this season as they are set to switch to Ford next year.

Australian duo Chaz Mostert and Lee Holdsworth won the Supercars Bathurst 1000 last year, representing their team Walkinshaw Andretti United. They finished the race covering 161 laps within 6:15:06.1951 and earned the leading 300 points on the table. Both drivers rode Holden Commodore ZB cars. Cameron Waters and James Moffat of the Tickford Racing team finished second with 276 points. This year, Chaz will drive with his new co-driver Fabian Coulthard for the same team as Holdsworth switched to Grove Racing.
