Johnathan Hankins is a professional football defensive tackle in America’s Las Vegas Raiders in the National Football League (NFL). He attended Ohio State’s College Football. College career:
From 2010-212, Hankins studied and played for Ohio State Buckeyes football in Ohio State University. He made the Buckeyes rotation and recorded 16 tackles. Professional career:
Hankins entered his junior season in 2012. In preseason mock drafts, he was listed as a mid-first-rounder for the 2013 NFL Draft. In mid-season, he had moved up to a top-10 spot. He announced that he would leave his final year of eligibility and wanted to enter the 2013 NFL Draft.
New York Giants:
In 2013, Hankins was drafted by the New York Giants in the NFL Draft. After Linval Joseph left the Giants.
In 2014, Hankins was awaited to come into his role known as a run stuffer. He showed slushes as a pass rusher recording 7 sacks, 6 QB hits, and 21 hurries. He exceeded expectations as he recorded 51 tackles, 7 sacks, and a forced fumble. He was known to Pro Football Focus’ AllPro Team as Defensive Tackle.
In 2015, Hankins cut off his pectoral muscle.
