Ciro Immobile is an Italian Professional Footballer. He plays as a striker for Serie A club Lazio and the Italy National Team. He played for Sorrento, Juventus, Siena, Grosseto, Pescara, German club Borussia Dortmund, Torino, and also for the Spanish club Sevilla. His goal-scoring record earned him the nickname, “King Ciro” from Lazio supporters.

Sorrento
Ciro Immobile began his youth career in the “Torre Annunziata ’88”. Then he transferred to ” Maria Rosa “. Then he joined the “Salernitana”. Then finally he joined Sorrento where he scored 30 goals during the 2007-08 season.
Juventus
Immobile joined Juventus in 2008 with a deal of signing €83,000 at 18 years old.
Siena and Grosseto
Immobile was sent on loan to A.C. Siena in 2010. But he left Siena in 2011. Then he was immediately loaned to Grosseto by Juventus.
Pescara
In 2011, Immobile joined Pescara which is Serie B club on a season-long loan from Juventus. He made his debut in this club on 26 August 2011. It was against Hellas Venora. In 2013, Immobile sold city-rivals Torino under a new co-ownership deal for €
Million. He made his debut for this club against club Pescara during the Coppa Italia’s first round. In 2014, Immobile scored his first hat-trick in Serie A against Livorna. He won many matches for Torino against important teams. He became the first Torino player to win the Capocannoniere including his season with 22 goals in 33 appearances.
Borussia Dortmund
In 2014, Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund picked Immobile for signing the contract but the co-ownership agreement between Torino and Juventus was not resolved. Juventus sold Immobile’s remaining 50% rights to Torino for €8.035 Million. Torino revealed the transfer fee to the German side was €17.955 Million. Immobile made his debut as a striker for Dortmund on 13 August 2014. It was against Byearn Munich in the 2014 DFL-Supercup.
Immobile scored his first goal for the club against Arsenal in Champion League on 16 September 2014. In the six Champions League matches, he scored 4 goals. Immobile assisted the first goal against Wolfsburg.
Sevilla
In 2015, Sevilla picked Immobile on a season-long. He made his debut for the club on 111 August 2015 against Barcelona. On 8 November 2015, Immobile played for the club against Real Madrid and scored his first goal for the club. In November, Immobile made his fifth appearance which was the obligation to buy him outright for €11 Million with €3 Million for a loan.
Returned to Torino
In 2016, Immobile returned to Torino until the end of the 2015-16 season on loan. He made his return debut against Frosinone and scored the opening goal. In the next match, he scored 2 goals against Palermo. On 22 March, in a derby, he got a muscular injured at the halftime mark. He was sidelined for a month.
Lazio
On 27 July 2016, Lazio announced that they signed with Immobile for a fee o €8.75 Million and he was extended with Lazio until 2022. He made his debut for the club against Atalanta. He finished the season with 23 league goals. He did not win Capocannoniere this time. In 2017, Immobile scored the opening brace of the Supercoppa Italiana. Lazio won the final against Juventus. Immobile scored a hat-trick in Lazio’s third match against Milan. For the next almost many matches, Immobile played for the club with good scoring and was awarded many lists. He became the first Italian player in Serie A history who scored at least 25 goals in 3 separate leagues. In 2022, Immobile became just the 4th player in Euro’s top five leagues..

In 2014, Immobile was picked by the senior national team for a friendly match. He made his debut against Spain after 69 minutes as a substitute. For Fifa World Cupp 2014 he was named in the 23-man squad. In Italy’s final World Cup warm-up match he scored a hat trick. He made his competitive debut against England on 14 June. He scored his first official international goal against the Netherlands on 14 September 2014. In 2016, he was named to Antonio Conte’s 23-man Italy squad. It was for UEFA Euro 2016. Then he was also included in Italy’s squad for UEFA Euro 2020.
