ESPN analyst, Bart Scott blasted the Bears calling them “barely a professional football team” ahead of their next game Packers.
The Chicago Bears are going under a lot of scrutiny from both the fans and the pundits. Many went as far as calling them the worst team in the league as of now. Despite winning their opening game of the 2022 NFL season, the criticism does not seem to stop.
The most vocal among the critics turned out to be Bart Scott. Bart Scott is a former Linebreaker of the NFL, currently working as an analyst for ESPN. In a show where he was joined by another analyst, Scott took a dig at the Bears and its star player Justin Fields. “Chicago is barely a professional team,” remarked Scott while laughing.
When the topic of Bears’ quarterback Justin Fields arose, Scott said, “There is nothing Fields can do to the Packers. He’s not a sophisticated passer.”

Many in the scene, however, heavily disagreed with Scott’s remarks. While the Bears might not be the favorite to win it all this season, they are still capable of beating the very best. Fields, whom the former line breaker called a “not a sophisticated passer”, had the most impactful performance in Chicago’s last match win against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chicago Bears are set to face the Green Bay Packers at the Lambeau Field on the 18th of September. The fans cannot wait for Sunday to see how the game turns out.
