Former Guild star, trexx has joined the Spanish organization, KOI to finalize its valorant roster for the upcoming VCT season of 2023.
Nikita “trexx” Cherednichenko is a professional Valorant player from Russia. He started his career in late 2020. For the first 15 months of his career, he struggled to settle down with a team. He played for tier- 2 teams such as FishkaVTom, Team Singularity, etc. His first big break came when he signed with OG. Later he was acquired by Guild Sports in January this year.
With Guild Sports failing to make it into the franchised league, trexx became a restricted free agent and started looking for options to play in a partnered team. He did not have to wait much as according to reports, the representative of Spain for the 2023 season in the franchised league, KOI has decided to sign trexx.
KOI was undoubtedly the most successful Spanish Valorant roster for the last two seasons. Thanks to their performance coupled with their prestige as an esports org, they made franchising one of the 10 teams from Europe.
With the addition of trexx, KOI has now finalized its roster ahead of the VCT 2023 season. The 18-year-old will be joining his two former teammates BARBARR and koldamenta. The other two players set to be on the roster are starxo and Sheydos.
KOI will be one of the thirty teams to play in the Kick Off tournament of the VCT 2023 season. The three-week-long tournament will take place in Brazil and offers the winner a slot in the Masters tournament of their respective region.
