Incomings:
The Merseyside club’s statement signing this time is Uruguayan international Darwin Nunez from Benfica. The towering forward is an out-and-out striker who has a great knack for threatening the opposite defense relentlessly and creating havoc. The 23year old striker had a great season with the Portuguese side Benfica last year & he caught the eyes of the German boss during their encounter in the UCL.

He featured 11 times for his country and scored 2 goals. Liverpool paid Benfica £80 million for his service with add-ons which means the overall operation could reach £100 million. He signed a five-year deal that ties him to Anfield until 2027.
Liverpool signed another player in Favio Carvalho from Fulham. The young and exciting Portuguese attacking midfielder joins Liverpool by putting pen to paper for a long-term deal also.
