The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Summer 2022 playoffs is knocking at the door. All top-notch teams are ready to fight for the final LCS title in 2022 and to secure a place in the Worlds 2022.
In the previous year’s Worlds 2021, Cloud9 secured quarterfinals with a 3-4 run in Group Stage. Team 100 Thieves won the LCS 2021 Championship. The top three teams of the LCS Summer 2022 playoffs will qualify for the Worlds 2022 this year— the champion, the runner-up to play straight in the Worlds 2022 Group Stage and the third team will be playing the Play-In Stage.
Eight out of ten teams will qualify for the playoffs. The qualified teams will be seeded into rounds based on their standings. There will be a bracket of double elimination in the playoffs with the best from five matches. After the end of week 7, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, Counter Logic Gaming, Team Liquid, and Cloud9 have already confirmed their places while the rest three are yet to be announced.
