With the Dallas Cowboys facing the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football, the head coach of the Cowboys, Mike McCarthy is determined to get their first victory of the season at the AT&T Stadium.
The Cowboys will host the Bengals in their home on the 18th of September. Both teams had a disappointing start to the 2022 regular NFL season. Being down 0-1 following the first week, the teams are eager to pick their first win this Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys lost their first game against the Tamba Bay Buccaneers. If the 19-3 loss was not humiliating enough, the Cowboys lost their starting QB, Dak Prescott, due to an injury suffered in that game. Now Prescott will be unavailable for the next six to eight weeks as per the reports.
The head coach of the Cowboys came to press earlier this week to talk about the situation and their next game against the Bengals. “Tough to see anybody get injured. But it happened for generations. That’s what this game is. It’s [injuries] part of the game. You can’t get to the championship without being able to overcome those things,” remarked McCarthy.
“It’s disappointing to lose your starting quarterback. It’s extremely disappointing to lose Dak. But the reality is we need to go beat Cincinnati, and Cooper Rush has the reins,” he added. Cooper Rush is set to be the replacement quarterback in the absence of Prescott.
No matter how determined the American’s Team is to win on Sunday, their opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals are no pushovers. In fact, the Bengals are going into the match as a big favorite according to NFL Pick Watch. We need to wait till 4:25 p.m. ET to see who emerges victorious from what is sure to be an exciting battle.
