Cloud9 White, arguably the most successful team in VCT Game Changers history is now Berlin bound as they qualify for the 2022 VCT Game Changers Championship.
The biggest event of the Game Changers is scheduled for the 15th of November, 2022. The best female teams of Valorant from across the globe will head to Berlin to play in the first-ever women’s only Valorant LAN event. A total of eight teams will be participating in the GC Championship. C9W has just become the first NA to qualify for it.
C9W has been dominating the North America GC scene from the very start. They are currently the six-time women’s champion in NA. With them being so ahead of their competitions in NA, the fans wanted for a long time to watch them go against the female teams from other regions. It will finally happen next month as they secure their qualification by winning the first two games in the NA GC Series: 3.
The Women in Blue only needed to win two games to gain enough circuit points to ensure qualification. They did it so flawlessly without dropping a single map. They faced Immortals and XSET Purple in the quarter and semi-finals, respectively. meL and co. won both matches in spectacular fashion losing in 7 rounds in 4 maps. “Bob”, the newest addition to the team, was the MVP of both series.
North America Region has 2 slots in the 2022 Game Changers Championship in Berlin. One is reserved for the team with the highest circuit points. With C9W confirming that spot, whoever wins the tournament from the remaining 5 teams will fill up the other spot.
