Ruoff Mortgage 500 is an annual stock car racing event for the widely popular NASCAR Cup Series. It is a 3-stage race event, held in the Phoenix Driveway of Arizona at the very beginning of every new NASCAR season. The event inaugurated in 2005 as the Subway Fresh 500. It is currently sponsored by the United Rentals.
The 2023 Ruoff Mortgage 500 will mark the official 19th annual edition. Like every year, it will be a 312-lap race over the span of 3 rounds, where participants have to cross over 513.162 km of distance. The 1.65 km long standard NASCAR racing course of Phoenix Raceway will host the event.
A total of 36 racers have qualified to enter the event. The 312-lap race will be divided into 3 stages – stage 1 containing 75 laps, stage 2 containing 112 laps, and the final stage containing 112 laps. Following the qualification, Kyle Larson from Hendrick Motorsport is set to start at the pole position. Defending champion, Chase Briscoe of Stewart-Hass Racing will start at 24th position.
