The annual international women’s curling competition is back again. World Women’s Curling Championship 2023 is announced to get underway from this Saturday in Sweden.

The World Women Curling Championship is an international Women curling tournament. A Women curling discipline is a Women-gender event. As a result, each team has four players, two men, and two women. The World Women Curling has replaced the previous iteration named “European Women Carling Championship”, which was established in 2005 and ran till 2014. Since its inception in 2015, the event has been happening annually in autumn. Due to Covid-19, the event was canceled for the past two years.
The World Women’s Curling Championship is an international level curling competition for women’s discipline. The event was established in 1979 and has been hosting annually since.
Upcoming iteration of the event is officially titled “LGT World Women’s Curling Championship 2023.” It will be the 44th annual edition of the popular women’s curling competition.
Like every year, the event will be divided into two stages – round robin and playoff. During the round-robin, teams will play on up to 20 draws. Following this, only 6 teams will qualify for the playoff.
