47th IIHF World Junior Championship is coming to an end with the upcoming exciting World Junior Hockey Final 2023 scheduled for this Thursday in Canada.

The World Junior Ice Hockey Championships 2023 is the latest edition of IIHF World Junior Championship. The 47th iteration of event is begin hosted in Canada by the WJIHC.
This year’s World Junior Hockey Championship began on December 26. A total of 10 international teams participated in the event hosted in two different cities – Halifax and Moncton.
Semifinals of the event were held in January 4th. In the game between Czechia and Sweden, both teams were in a draw position with 1-1 score. However, Jiri Kulich’s score during the very end of overtime gave Czechia the dramatic winning route to the finals. While Canada had a steady 6-2 win against the United States, thanks to Connor Bedard’s goal & assist.
In the upcoming gold medal game, the Czech Republic ice hockey team will face the Canadians. While the United States will go against Sweden for the bronze medal the same day.
