The PDC World Darts Championship is an international-level professional dart competition. It is annually held by the Professional Darts Corporation. The event generally runs for around 3 weeks at the end of every year.
The upcoming PDC World Darts Championship 2022 is the official 30th iteration of the event. However, due to sponsorship reasons, it is titled “2022 Cazoo World Darts Championship”.
The tournament will maintain a sets system in a playoff knockout system this year. A total of 64 participants, among which 32 are the highest ranked PDC Pro Tour order of merit, and 32 qualifiers from around the world will be participating in the first round of the event. 32 out of these 64 professional participants will be selected for the second round.
