ITTF World Youth Championship is the definitive international table tennis tournament. The popular table tennis competition was first established in 2003 under ITTF’s authorization. Since then, the event has been hosting annually with the exception of 2020. Which was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The international competition was previously titled “World Junior Table Tennis Championship”. Following the inclusion of U19 to U15, the event was renamed to “ITTF World Youth Championship.” The 2022 edition will be the 2nd event since the recent rebranding.
The 2022 ITTF World Youth Championship will be held in Tunisia. A total of 20 teams and 56 individual players will be participating in the event. The championship will feature following event types on both U19 and U15 division for both men’s and women’s discipline –
