UFC has come to France for the first time in the history of the promotion with a stacked card headlined by UFC Paris: Gane vs Tuivasa.
UFC Paris: Gane vs Tuivasa, otherwise known as UFC Fight Night 209 or UFC on ESPN+ 67, is a much-awaited MMA event set to be held on the 3rd of September, 2022 at The Accor Arena in Paris, France.
The UFC is making its Paris debut with an exciting fight card. France’s own Ciryl Gane, the former interim champion, will headline the event with Tai Tuivasa in their heavyweight bout. Gane is coming off a loss against Francis Ngannou, while Tuivasa is on a five-fight win streak with a win by KO in the last fight against Derrick Lewis. However, the Frenchman pushed the heavyweight champ to his limits in their fight in the main event of UFC 270. His encounter this Saturday with Tuivasa has a lot of eyes on it due to the absolutely exciting stylistic matchup.
In the co-main event, we got another massive fight. Robert Whittaker is returning to the octagon for the first time after losing the rematch against Israel Adesanya for the UFC Middleweight Championship. His opponent for the night is the no. 2 middleweight in the world, Marvin Vettori.
