156 golfers have arrived in Greensboro, North Carolina to participate in this year’s edition. Some top players among them are; Will Zalatoris, Billy Horschel, Sungjae Im, Shane Lowry, etc. Kevin Kisner, who won the 2021 edition of the Wyndham Championship is also here to defend his title.
All the top-seeded players have their eyes set on the massive prize pool of $7,300,000. However, this tournament has extra significance as many players’ tour standings are dependent on how they perform in this event.
Golfers like Callum Tarren, Rickie Fowler, Jason Day, and Webb Simpson are hovering just outside the top 125. A decent performance in this event will help them reach the top 125 and that in turn will make them eligible to play next week in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
