The Western Intercollegiate is an amateur collegiate golf event established in 1947. The popular collegiate competition is hosted annually on a Santa Cruz County-based golf course.
Upcoming Western Intercollegiate 2023 marks the 76th annual edition of the long-running intercollegiate golf competition. Like previous years, the oncoming event will feature the top talents of the current intercollegiate season.
A total of 14 university teams will be present in the California-based event’s field this week. Each of the teams will contain 6 players. This year’s event will be sponsored by Titleist, Top Golf, and San Jose State University.
The tournament will be played in the standard NCAA team championship format. The best 54-hole scorer will be identified as the champion team. Two members of each team will be paired together.
