The Players or officially titled “The Players Championship” is an annual golf competition at a professional level. It is held in Florida every year under the PGA Tour yearly calendar. The event was initiated in 1974 and is one of the long-running events of the popular American golf tour.
This year will mark the 68th anniversary of the event. It will be played on a 72-par stroke play format over the course of four days. Like the past years, the event will be hosted at the stadium course of TPC at Sawgrass near Ponte Vedra Beach.
The Players 2023 is featuring a 144-player field. The field will be jam-packed with top-class elite professionals, thanks to its gigantic $25 million purse pool. 49 of the current top 50 OWGR rankers will be present in the field this year.

The Players 2023 Tee Times:
For the initial two rounds, the 144-player field will be divided into groups of three for the upcoming event. Robby Shelton, Austin Smotherman, and Min Woo Lee will group up and tee off at 06:50 a.m. to compete together on tee no.1 during the first round. At the same time, Danny Willett, Brandon Wu, and Davis Thompson will tee off to compete on tee hole 10. There will be an 11-minute difference between each group’s tee times.
