We have seen a huge upgrade in the purse of this year’s Masters. Competition to LIV’s $25 million purse, the PGA tour has increased the purse of this year’s tournaments. The purse for this year’s Masters is announced at $18 Million. In 2022, the purse was $15 million, so, this year, there has been a huge $3 Million increment in the payouts.
This increment has affected the winner’s share as well as the salaries of the other positions too. We have seen a gradual increase in the Master’s p[urse in the previous years. The purse was $11.5 million in 2021.
How Much the winner earn from the Master’s 2023?
The Masters 2023 winner will get a huge payday of $3.24 Million this year. The winner’s share is 18% of the total payout of the event.
The winner’s share has also increased in recent years. In 2022, the winner got $2.7 million, which was $2.07 million in 2021.
The winner of the Master’s 2023 will also get 100 official golf ranking points and 600 FedEx Cup points.
