Stella Artois Players Championship 2023 for the latest annual Sunshine Tour Calendar started on April 13th. The four-round professional golf event initiated the latest season with a 198-player field.
This year’s popular South African event features a R$2 million prize pool, which is similar to €1 million (EUR) or £90,000 (GBP) at its current market value.
Unsurprisingly, the featured prize pool amount is similar to the previous iteration. As such, the winner’s share will be a Sunshine Tour standard 17% cut, totaling €170,000.
Only the top 70 participants to cut the event will get a share of the prize pool. Therefore, there won’t be much difference between 2022 and this year’s prize pool at the ongoing event.
The final three qualified participants in the leaderboard – 68th, 69th, and 70th earn €2,100, €2,000, and €1,900. In contrast to the amount provided in the previous iteration, is exactly the same.
