The NCAA golf season of 2023 is announced to begin with the upcoming Southwestern Invitational 2023 golf event on Monday.

Southwestern Invitational is an amateur golf tournament held annually in California. Sanctioned by the NCAA, it is a part of Pac-12 Conference’s men’s golf events. The event is officially titled “The Southwestern Invitational Presented by ZipRecruiter”. In 1978 the event first made its debut with USC as the host.
Southwestern Invitational 2023 is the 44th official iteration of the event. The upcoming event will begin on the last week of January. The 3-day event will be held in the Westlake Village of California. It will maintain an 18-holes stroke play format over 72-par.
The 12 teams of the 2022-23 men’s golf rooster will be present in the event. Popular Texas players like Keaton Wo and Jacob Sosa will be playing in the upcoming California based amateur golf event.

The Southwestern Invitational 2023 will be a 3-day amateur golf tournament. For the first round, players will be divided into groups of three or four to tee off and compete together. Jose Luis Allister, Luigi Wong, and Roberto Nieves will team up together to tee off at around 10:32 a.m. to initiate the event.
