Sony Open 2023 will feature a $7.9 million prize fund for a 144-player field. There will be additional 500 FedEx Cup points for the winner of the event.

Sony Open 2023 begins this Thursday with a 144-player field. Golfers will be divided in groups of three to compete together from the same tee hole. Brendan Steele, John Huh, Matthias Schwab will form the first group for hole 1. While Troy Merritt, Kyle Stanley, and Christiaan Bezuidenhout will form the first group for hole 10. Both teams will tee-off as the first groups to begin the event at 12:10 p.m. ET. There will be a 10-minute difference between each group’s tee-off time for the respective hole.
