In 2019, PGA Tour launched its first competition in Detroit with the Rocket Mortgage Classic. 5th iteration of the event is ready to take place this Thursday for the ongoing 2022-23 PGA Tour series.
Like every year, it will be a 72-par based four-round competition with a stroke play format. 156 professional PGA Tour golfers will be present in the Michigan field. Organizers have announced a $8.8 million prize pool with a $1.584 million winners share.
This week’s field will be jam-packed with top-class favorites. Fans will see the likes of Rickie Fowler, Max Homa, Collin Morikawa, defending champion Tony Finau, Sungjae Im, and many more play in the tournament.
