Porsche European Open 2023 Purse:
European Open is a popular German professional golf tournament. European Tour is the present organizer of the event. Furthermore, Porsche sponsors the tournament since 2015.
Porsche European Open 2023 will mark its 40th annual iteration this week. This event will feature 156 professional golfers from European Tour. However, None of the top-50 OWGR ranked golfers will participate in the field this week.
The organizers have announced a $2 million prize pool for the event. They will distribute the prize pool between the top 65 in the final leaderboard. These 65 participants will have to successfully make a cut during the initial two rounds.
The winner of the event will receive a 17% cut of the featured purse. Therefore, the winner will receive $340,000 as a reward. Furthermore, the runner-up and 3rd position holder will receive $220,000, and $125,000 as a reward. While the three bottom position holders – 63rd, 64th, and 65th participants will be given $5,200, $5,000, and $4,800 respectively.
