A brand-new LPGA Tour event is ready to inaugurate today in New Jersey. Here you can read the Mizuho Americas Open 2023 purse and prize distribution information.
Mizuho Americas Open 2023 Purse:
Mizuho Americas Open is a newly announced LPGA Tour event. Sponsored by Mizuho Americas, the event will take place this Thursday, June 1, 2023. It will feature a 120-player field from LPGA’s professional division. Additionally, 24 top-ranked junior golfers will join them to compete in the tournament.
Event organizers have announced Mizuho Americas Open 2023 purse at $2.75 million. This prize pool will be distributed among the top-65 participants to make a cut during the initial two rounds, based on their final standings.
The winner of the New Jersey-based event will receive a 15% cut as a reward. This amounts to $412,500. Meanwhile, the runner-up and 3rd place golfer will receive $259,395, and $188,173 respectively.
Furthermore, the bottom three participants of the leaderboard – 63rd, 64th, and 65th player will receive $6,675, $6,534, and $6,390 respectively. However, there will be no cash prize for junior participants in the event.
