Mitsubishi Electric Classic is the popular Georgia based seniors’ professional golf competition. It was established in 2013 under the title “Greater Gwinnett Championship.” The event is currently run under the annual PGA Tour Champions calendar as.
This year’s competition will mark the 10th anniversary of the event. Like recent years, it will take place at the TPC Sugarloaf. Competition will be over 72-par and maintain a stroke play format for three rounds.
Organizers have announced a $2 million purse pool for the event, with a winner’s share of $340,000. This marks a noteworthy $200,000 increment on purse in the event for the first time since its inauguration.
A total of 76 professional senior golfers will partake in the upcoming Mitsubishi electric Classic. Defending champion of 2022 event, Steve Flesch will also be present in the field.
