Mexico Open, alternatively called Abierto Mexicano de Golf is a national open professional-level golf tournament held in Mexico annually. First established in 1944, it is also officially part of the PGA Tour now.
The upcoming edition of the tournament will be a PGA standard four-round competition over the span of four days. It will maintain a stroke play-based format and will be played over 72-par.
This year’s Mexico Open announced a $7.7 million prize pool with a winner’s share of $1.386 million. A total of 144 PGA Tour golfers will be present in the field during first two days. The field includes OWGR no.1 and defending champion Jon Rahm, Alex Noren, and many more top-class golfers.
