The winner of the ongoing Tucson-based golf event will earn a $4 million reward. While it is the same as any other standard individual LIV Golf competition, the reward size is still large compared to other events of the same category in popular international tours like PGA and European Tour.
The runner-up at Tucson is set to earn $2.125 million purse money. Following this, the 3rd position holder will earn $1.5 million from the event. All of the 48 participants will receive a share of the massive $20 million purse. As such, the bottom-ranked players in the leaderboard like the 47th and 48th participants will earn hefty sums of $122,000 and $120,000 respectively.
In addition to the standard individual purse pool, the event will also feature $5 million in prize money for the top three teams. The winning team is set to claim $3 million from the team purse pool. Whereas the runner-up and third team will receive $1.5 million and $500k respectively.
