Since its founding in 2021, the LIV Golf Tour has been a hot topic among golf fans worldwide for various reasons. One of the biggest attention-catching aspects of the events in the tour is their massive prize pool. Within the inaugural season, the tour successfully completed 7 individual invitational and one group invitational. Each of these individual events featured attention-catching prize money of $25 million.
The ongoing LIV Golf Invitational Miami team championship is being held at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami since October 27, 2022. A total of 48 players took part in the event, forming 12 different teams of four players in each.

LIV Golf Miami 2022 Purse:
The LIV Golf Miami features an astonishing amount of $50 million prize money. The amount easily blows away PGA Tour’s major events with ease. This was a major motivator for many PGA Tour and DP World Tour veterans to switch to the newly formed Saudi-funded golf tour.
The winning team of the LIV Golf Miami Invitational will receive a total prize money of $16 million. Which will be divided equally among the four participants, with each receiving $4 million. While the runners-up team will receive an $8 million reward. Which will be divided among four players with each getting $2 million.
All of the 12 teams will be getting a share of the huge prize pool in LIV Golf Miami 2022. Teams eliminated in the quarterfinals will receive $1 million prize money. This equates to $250k for each team member.
