Latin America Amateur Championship is the biggest amateur golf tournament. It was first established in 2015 and has been running annually since. The event is organized with the held from R&A, the Masters and the USGA.
The 2023 Latin America Amateur Championship is announced to be held at Puerto Rico. In a recent press conference at the host club, venue for the upcoming 2024 LAAC was announced to be Panama.
Like every year since 2020, winner of this year’s championship will earn an invitation for the 2023 Masters. However, they will also be eligible for a start in the 151st Open Championship and the 123rd US Open from this year onwards. Moreover, they will also retain the full exemption extension to 128th Amateur Championship and the US Amateur Championship.
The tournament will be four round long. It will feature stroke play format over 72 par. A total of 108 amateur golfers from 28 different Latin American countries will participate in the event during the first round.

Latin America Amateur Championship 2023 Tee Times:
This Thursday, latest iteration of Latin America Amateur Championship will begin with a 108-player field. The competitors will be divided into groups of 3 to participate in the first round. Erick Morales, Xzavier Wiggins, and Justin Hastings will team up together to start at hole no#1. While Felix Dominguez, Erich Fortlage, and Mugiel Reyes Viacava will start at hole no#10 together. Both teams will tee-off for round one at 09:10 at their respective holes. There will be a 11-minute difference between each team’s tee-off time.
