Asian Tour returns to Vietnam as International Series Vietnam starts on April 13. This is the 8th event of the Asian Tour and the fourth of the international series.
The tournament will take place at the KN Golf Links. In the field, we will see World City Championship winner Taichi Kho. The DGC Open winner Tabuena Miguel will also be on the field.
The Asian Tour authority announced an increase in the tournament’s purse previously. This year, most international series tournaments feature parts of $2 million.
This will be the opening season of the international series in Vietnam. The world will see the highest-paid golf event ever happening in Vietnam. Through this, the purse of this year’s tournament has been set to be $2,000,000.
This is the same as most of the international series events of 2023. Only the international series quarter had a greater purpose than this. It is assumed that this greater amount of prize money will attract a lot of players to the tournament and will also offer official golf ranking points to climb up the ladder.
