Latest edition of the HSBC Women’s World Championship kicked off in Singapore on the first day of this March. Here you will find the latest prize pool and purse distribution information on the ongoing LPGA Tour 2023 season event.
HSBC Women’s World Championship 2023 Purse:
HSBC Women’s World Championship is a professional women’s golf event held in Singapore. It was established in 2008 and has been running under LPGA’s annual Tour calendar. The ongoing event marks the 15th anniversary of the Singaporean tournament.
The HSBC Women’s World Championship 2023 is featuring a $1.8 million purse pool. This marks a modest $100k increment over the 2022 event’s $1.7 million purse. The winner’s share is set at $270,000 this year. In contrast, the previous champion Ko Jin-young received $255,000 last year.
The runner-up of the 2023 event will receive a $166,643 prize. While the 3rd position holder will earn a $120,888 per share. These mark very little increment over the 2022 event’s prize amounts of $159,893, and $115,991 respectively. Only the top-72 competitions in standings will receive a share of the purse pool this year.
As per the officially released purse distribution, 70th, 71st, and 72nd-ranked participants will earn $3,650, $3,605, and $3,558 respectively. While it isn’t much, there has been a gradual increment prize pool since 2019’s $1.5 million purse pool over the past few years.
