Trophy Hassan II is a long-running professional seniors golf tournament. The event first inaugurated in 1971 as a Pro-Am invitational event titled “Moroccan Grand Prix”. Later the event was shifted to the European Tour calendar in 2010.
For the previous three years, the Moroccan seniors golf event was cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic. However, it is finally returning and has been moved to PGA Tour Champions schedule. Organizers have announced the event to begin on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
The upcoming Trophy Hassan II 2023 will be played with a stroke play format over 73 par for three days. Like the previous iterations, it will feature a massive $2 million purse pool for the inaugural champions edition.
The competition will feature a 66-player field consisting of PGA Tour Champions golfers. Popular senior professionals such as Miguel Angel Jimenez, Kevin Sutherland, and Bernhard Langer will be present in the event.
