The American Express 2023 will be 64th addition to the long running event. It will however be the 3rd iteration under the new guise, since the previous Desert Classic title was scrapped.
Organizers of this year’s American Express golf event have announced a $8 million purse pool. A total of 74 professional PGA Tour golfers will compete in the first-round field.
Popular top-class professionals like Jon Rahm, Sungjae Im, Tony Finau, and many more are set to attend this year’s event. However, the defending champion Hudson Swafford will not be present this year. As he was dropped for PGA due to participating in the LIV Tour.
