Hero World Challenge is a popular unofficial PGA Tour event. The event is hosted by golf legend Tiger Woods and his Tiger Woods Foundation. While it is sanctioned by the PGA Tour, the event doesn’t offer any FedEx or other point and money system.
The tournament was first established in 2000. Since then, it has ben held annually in the Bahamas. The event is played for 4 days in a stroke play format over 72 per. The event also features pro-am for two days before the event. There professionals golfers participate with amateur starters.
The 2022 Hero World Challenge will be 23rd edition of the event. It will feature a $3.5 million prize fund. A total of 20 professional golfers will participate in the charity golf event this year. The defending champion, Viktor Hovland will also be present in the event.
