Hero World Challenge 2022 Purse:
The officially disclosed amount of the Hero World Challenge 2022 Purse is $3.5 million. The amount is the same as the previous 2021 Hero World Challenge. Therefore, individual placements won’t be seeing any change to their prize size this year.
The champion of the 2022 Hero World Challenge will receive prize money of $1 million. It is the same as what the defending champion Viktor Hovland received in 2021. While the runner-up will receive $375,000 reward like the previous runner-up Scottie Scheffler.
The 20 participating professional golfers will receive a share of the $3.5 million purse pool, based on their final leaderboard standing. Therefore, the 19th and 20th standing are set to receive $101,000 and $100,000 respectively. It is again notably the same as the previous one.
