Authorized by the PGA European Tour, Hero Cup is a brand-new golf tournament announced for 2023. The competition is scheduled to inaugurate DP World Tour’s 2023 calendar. Popular Indian two-wheeler manufacturer company, Hero MotoCorp is the official sponsor of the event.
Hero Cup 2023 will be a team-based golf competition. It will be organized in UAE with a match play format over 72 par. The tournament has high resemblance to the former Seve Trophy.
Two teams will participate in the event. The GB&I team is representing Great Britain and Ireland. While team Europe is representing Continental Europe side. The event features a prize pool of €2,000,000.

The founding edition of Hero Cup is scheduled to initiate on Friday, January 13, 2023. With five fourball matches, day one of the competition will start at 02:05 a.m. ET.
