Ongoing Genesis Invitational 2023 is featuring a $20 million purse pool. It is the second biggest purse size in PGA Tour, just after the Players Championship’s $25 million. It is a whopping $8 million increment compared to the previous iteration’s $12 million pool.

Although, there will be a decrease in the standings from the top-75 to only the top-65.
Even the bottom-positioned participants will earn a good sum, well over double their last year’s amount. For example, the reward for the 64th and 65th placement is listed at $43,400, and $43,000 for the 2023 event. While in 2022, they were rewarded $23,640 and $23,640 respectively. These numbers above clearly suffice the reason behind the wide popularity of the California-based PGA event.
