PGA Tour is ready to initiate the widely awaited fan-favorite event in Punta Cana from Thursday morning.

Corales Puntacana Championship is a professional golf tournament. Established in 2016, it is a relatively new PGA event that quickly generated a fan following in past few years.
The event will reach its 8th annual iteration this year. The upcoming tournament will be a standard four-round competition of stroke play format that will be played over the span of four days.
This year’s event will feature a $3.8 million purse pool and a $684,000 winner’s share. A 122-player field will be featured during the first two rounds. Later, only the top-65 players to make a cut will advance to the following two rounds.
9 of the top 50 professionals from OWGR rankings will be present at the event. Additionally, 10 participants will be from the top 100 of the current FedEx Cup leaderboard. According to our experts, Thomas Detry will be our favorite pick for the event participant list.
