Cognizant Founders Cup 2023 Purse:
The latest Cognizant Founders Cup is scheduled to take place this Thursday in Clifton’s Upper Montclair Country Club. Featuring a 144-player field, the women’s professional golf tournament will be played over the span of four days.
This year’s field will be filled with top-class LPGA players like Lydia Co, Jin Young Ko, Nelly Korda, and many more. Furthermore, the defending champion Minjee Lee will participate too. As such, fans are excited to see the latest LPGA Tour event unfold.
Organizers have featured a $3 million amount as the Cognizant Founders Cup 2023 purse. This will be shared among only the top-65 competitors that successfully make a 36-cut. The winner of the competition will receive an LPGA standard 15% payout, amounting to $450,000 from the purse pool. It is the same amount as the defending champion received in 2022.
As there is no difference in the purse pool, there will be no difference in the 2022 and 2023 event’s individual payout either. Meaning, the runner-up and 3rd placed participants will receive a standard $282,977, and $205,279 purse respectively. There haven’t been any changes to the payout amount since the post-pandemic 2021 event.
